Morgan State University Admissions
Morgan State requires applicants to demonstrate a 2.0 cumulative high school grade point average, and a combined SAT score of 900 or a composite ACT score of 19 before being admitted. If applying for the Fall semester, applicants should submit their materials by April 15 of the year they plan to attend; for spring semester consideration the deadline is December 1 prior to the year they plan to attend. Applications received after those deadlines have passed will be considered as space is available. There is a non-refundable $25 application fee for admissions applications to be considered, either via mail or online. Students who are accepted are encouraged and welcome to attend the Introduction to the University Program for new freshmen. Components of this program include placement tests and assistance planning the first year’s curriculum, with faculty members and counselors on-hand to answer any questions. The event also includes some social activities that familiarize incoming students with the campus and its resources. For students with a high school grade point average of 3.00, the Honors Program is a possibility. Applicants to the Honors Program should demonstrate an SAT score of 1100 or an ACT score of 24.
